Caffeine free Regular and or Diet PEPSI ! I really don't drink much Pop/Soda though.

Valis I'm disappointed...............Where is the drunkin harlet sitting on the wild beast? She was my favorite. Also for the more advanced colorers you should include the one where the dog and people are falling into the crack in the earth. That one takes alittle talent.

I am also shocked to find out he was only 76. He was old when I watched him growing up. Maybe cause it was black and white for so long they could pull it off. I will miss this gentle soul.

Welcome to the board Magnolia & hubby.
Hang around and you will be able to let alot if not all of your guilt go. I've been out for almost 30 years and until I found this board and read all the experiances of the people I still had some guilt. No more! I just wish this place was around years ago...........I could have moved on much easier and sooner. The guilt you feel is very normal, this to shall pass.
P.S. If you see the word Apostafest it is an XJW get together........not an Italian Celebration. Well I did'nt know. (wheres the smiley faces when you need 'em?)

need youre input on this
by kls inas many on this boad know my husband is a jw,going on 28yrs.recently he has been missing meetings .something is different about him,he still acts like one but the meeting dont seem to bother him as much to miss them.i am scared to read to much into this for fear of kidding myself.i am confused on what to think.is he doing the fade?
or am i just wishing.let me know what you think .

Maybe you could just tell him you noticed he's been missing some meetings and you are concerned about him. Say you just want to know if he is okay or is there something wrong. I wouldn't ask if he is fading though. Maybe it would make a window for him to express a concern if he has any. Who better to ask then a proud apostate.

The Credit Card Shuffle.
by Englishman ina few weeks back, i noticed that virgin were offering a 0% interest rate for 6 months if you transferred the balances on your other credit cards to them.
i decided to take the plunge and go for it.
i moved over a few grand happy in the knowledge that i had "free" money for a 6 month period.. however, once i had done this, i then noticed that the interest rate on transferred balances was actually 2% more on their standard rate after the 6 month free period.

One of the things to do when transferring like that is to close out the first account like someone above suggested.
Another option would be to call the present card company and tell them what it is you are going to do and see if they are willing to match or at least lower your interest on the card you have now. They want to keep your business. They also are sending out such promotions to people to get new ones and very well may do it to keep old ones. It may not be O% but could be much lower and cheaper in the long run with lower interest when the promotion is done. I have called several times to have my interest lowered.

Almost a year later, and I am still angry...
by DanTheMan insome of you may remember that last march i was nearly fired from my job.
what happened was that i was having a casual, seemingly friendly conversation with a girl who i had once dated, but the conversation seemed to take a wrong turn when i told her that i was sorry things hadn't worked out between us.
her negative reaction (conveyed via body language) told me to change the subject, which i immediately did.

(As promised) BETHEL TRIP part 7. Loosing my balance
by seven006 inas i was trying to settle into my new life i constantly plagued myself with questions about where i had been and a bigger question, where i was going.
in the mid eighties there wasn't easy access to any exjw's to ask questions and help me through a very difficult transition in my life.
today the internet offers a lot of support through a large collection of exjw's from all over the world who offer many various options based on their own personal experience on where to go once you are out of the cult.
